I never have seen people react to a horror movie this way in a theater. The second one was not as good, but the first will remain a classic to me and I love watching Naomi Watts. This movie was more of an intelligent thriller, because unlike many crappy B-flicks, this movie made you really think!
You are pulled in with Naomi Watts, trying to figure out who this creepy water logged dead girl is. I might have some people disagree with me on giving this movie a 10, out of a scale of 1 - 10, but I don't give a crap! I could spend years waiting for a movie to hit the big screen, that makes people freak out like this one. Will I ever jump stark naked into a dark deep well? Absolutely! If I have Naomi Watts with me, it will be a freaking pool party! Naomi Watts and I could be playing volleyball with the water logged dead girl's head.
This movie was ahead of its time(pun intended). This movie is so good you can watch it three years later and still be scarred for life. Unlike the blockbuster hit, "The Blairwitch Project," I will forever remember this horror film. Don't get me wrong, The Blairwitch was a good idea, but that is all it was for me.
I will never forget going to see this movie with two girls from my old job! The Ring Movie did a real number on the girls, as they were watching the movie and I loved it. These girls were jumping and screaming during the creepy water logged girl from the well scenes. Watching the
girls scream next to me was SUPERB!
I was pleased by how well this creepy film was made! It had a good plot and the acting was good. Out of all the horror movies I have watched, this one was a breath of fresh dead air from a corspe, in other words, I thought it was to die for!
The Ring took horror to a different level and in a unique, thoughtful direction that compels you to keep watching. The Ring provides a good chilling mystery, with a dead blue zombie looking girl, who can't get enough water. Give that girl some Gatorade!

It had a much different twist and thinking
about a girl who would not die was a great concept. The images in this movie will leave a deadly stain on your brain and I need to catch a train. Seriously, if you slow down the images of where the faces change, you will see some scary
looking sh**!
I am not joking, go to your dvd or movie download software and watch when the faces change to a dark dead looking corspe face! I did this with a friend and it was some great cheap entertainment, for a Friday night. When I first saw this movie in the theater people were grabbing the armrest and were deeply terrified.
The scary film tricks in this movie kicked ass and film student's can get some powerful filming tips from this movie.
