One of the aspects I like about Showtime's Dexter, is you get a real sense of what his childhood was like and what he is going through as a serial killer. You really get inside of Dexter's dark world and your wrapped around his twisted years as a child, being found in a blood bath of death. I am giving the Dresden Files a chance and hope many others will.
It is easy to be harsh and opinionated with a new series, but we need to be thankful for its appearance on Sci Fi. If you spend much time on Sci Fi, then you know where I am coming from. I am at a loss for words to nicely describe "Sci Fi Saturday: The Most Dangerous Night of...
I have been waiting years for Sci Fi to
come out with a show worth watching!
Finally, the wait is over and the Sci Fi:
Dresden Files delivers. Battlestar
Galactica is also a worthwhile Sci Fi
show, which has had many good
reviews. Sci Fi's Dresden Files brings
you a different kind of detective and
the show is truly magical.
When the unexplainable occurs and
the cops are at a dead end, the
supernatural detective Harry Dresden
walks in ready to fight what exist in
the shadows. This show has many
different directions it can go. He
survives in a world of mystery, which
keeps us all wondering how he will beat
the dark forces attack upon humanity.
Unless you are a mind reader, you
cannot predict how Harry Dresden is
going to defeat his supernatural
opponents. This makes the show
refreshing and gives the Sci Fi
Channel a big boost in ratings.
I love Sci Fi shows, especially the dark fantasy types and this show gives you a heaping plateful of eerie criminal activity. The only downfall with the show, is for the viewers who have read the books, will not delve deep enough into how Dresden uses his spells. I can understand how the serious viewer's will be upset over this. I am grateful for any attempt to bring a book series to TV!
