Welcome horror fans!
Ahhh yes another Dario Argento movie I completely love! If you have not seen Inferno, drop everything and buy it or download it today! This movie at times may be confusing, because it ties in with it's predecessor Suspiria (awesome horror movie). The script for this movie is pure brilliance for the time period that it was released. Some horror fans of Argento do not like this movie, but I personally enjoyed it and it's a valued part of my DVD collection. The architectural work in this movie to build the different houses for the witches, is well-constructed.
This movie has some extremely beautiful scenes and the women are totally hot in this movie. Leigh McCloskey who plays Mark Elliot is totally lost in this movie and he is trying to find some clues about what has happened to his sister. This man ends up on fright filled journey to hell throughout this movie. This movie not only kept my interest, but it's another Argento film, I could watch over and over again. This is a favorite of mine, right next to my love for the phenomenal "Phenomena" with the ever gorgeous Jennifer Connelly!
At the heart of this wonderful horror flick from hell, is the three mothers (witches) and Mark does not get to see his sister (she digs too deep and gets her life endanger) again, but he finally finds out who the three mothers are and the ending of this movie is a real winner! I think many horror fans who do not like this movie were expecting more, but one must take the time to look at the details in this movie and realize it was made over 20 years ago!
Let's get real for one minute, compare it to some of the so-called Hollywood horror films of today and you will be happy as a pig in dung you watched it! Dario Argento has left his marvelous creepy stamp on the world of horror and his fan base has been growing larger ever since. Mainly, thanks to the YouTube DVD horror movie reviewers, who make his past achievements known to the online horror community! Grab this one on DVD or Blue-ray today!
