Interview With Horror DVD/VHS Collector J From YouTube!
Interviewed by MovieDownloadMatrix.com
Searching around YouTube, one can find all kinds of horror videos, but one man sticks out of the crowd!  J has collected a HUGE library of DVDS/VHS flicks, that makes Blockbusters horror section look like a joke!  CLICK HERE TO WATCH HORROR MOVIES NOW!

As a matter of fact, J could start his own horror movie rental store right now!  MovieDownloadMatrix.com caught up with J on YouTube and asked him some very important questions about being a horror movie collector.

MovieDownloadMatrix.com would like to personally thank J for taking the time to share his love for horror movies with us!

If you are a HARDCORE horror freak, then you will love this interview, because it takes you back to the horror films of the exciting 80's. Not to mention, the 1980's had some of the coolest and most horrific creepy looking movie posters ever created!!!
MovieDownloadMatrix.com - So J, how many horror movies do you own?

J - I have 3918 (and continuously growing) individual horror film titles, both VHS & DVD combined. I only count a title one time no matter how many I have of it. For example; I have 4 VHS tapes of Alice, Sweet Alice (with different cover art) & 1 DVD yet I only count that as 1 title in my collection. So that's 5 actual items but only listed one time on my hard copy list. So, although I have 3918 individual horror film titles, I have many more actual tapes & discs. Thought I'd explain that. I do count alternate titles that I have as different titles. Like I have Alice, Sweet Alice and also Holy Terror (it's an alternate title) and I count that as 2 movies on my hard copy list. If I have a film under 3 or 4 titles, I list each one that I have. Thought I'd mention that also. It's just the way I decided to do it.

MovieDownloadMatrix.com - What are your "Top 10 Horror Movies" of all time?

J - Top 10 from the 80's or near it. Tough question man. Let me try...

FRIDAY THE 13TH
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2
FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3
FRIDAY THE 13TH The FINAL CHAPTER
HALLOWEEN (if it must remain in the 80's substitute in Happy Birthday To Me at the end of the list, at #10)
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
PROM NIGHT
SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT
MANIAC
THE MUTILATOR

MovieDownloadMatrix.com - Who is your favorite SLASHER KILLER of all time?

J - Jason Voorhees is my favorite KILLER EVER! Then Michael Myers is next.

MovieDownloadMatrix.com - What was your first horror movie purchase?

HALLOWEEN was the first movie in my collection. Then I bought part 2, 4, 5 and so on till I completed the series (I eventually went back and got Part 3 to complete the set, only because I had to, I felt).

Next, I got the FRIDAY THE 13TH's and it just grew & grew from there.  I loved the My Bloody Valentine remake in 09 (or was that late 08? hehe. I know it was out of most of the theaters before Valentines day oddly enough. But the FRIDAY THE 13TH remake was in them for the holiday, I do know that.)

MovieDownloadMatrix.com - J, What kind of horror fan are you...SLASHER?

J - I'm a slasher fan at heart. I like all horror films from the beginning of time to the present, but it's the slasher films that got me started and also what has kept me coming back!
The Mutilator (1985)
