Welcome horror fans!
If you are a true-blue Dario Argento fan, then you have to see Bird with The Crystal Plumage (L'uccello dalle piume di cristallo)! This movie brings you closer to seeing master Argento bring about a start, that will forever propel him to the heights of horror king! Yes, I said king! Why you may ask? This was his first film...way back in 1970, it just does not get any better! The beautiful surroundings are delightful and the acting is well-done like a turkey at Thanksgiving...oh I wish I could say that and mean it, but the acting in this movie is not the greatest...truth be told!
You will notice the powerful influence Alfred Hitchcock had on Argento in this film and it's one superb murder mystery (giallo)! I especially liked the black gloved killer in this movie and how the killer wore a stylish looking trench coat. The beginning of this film is almost flawless in it's execution, where our main character is trapped in between what appears to be solid glass divider and he is helpless to assist the lady, who appeared to be stabbed and dying. You will have to carefully watch the movie to piece this puzzle together, I don't want to give away to much, because this film is a rare and beautiful gem! By the way this movie stars Tony Musante, Suzy Kendall, and Eva Renzi!
There is one scene where a voluptuous woman gets killed in her bedroom, now I want to take a moment to say how truly hot this woman was back in the 70's! If you're a guy or a lesibian, you may appreciate the enticing goddess-like beauty of this woman. Are you ready? Drum roll please...her name is Rosita Torosh and please take the time to look her up in Google, check out her pictures, and you'll be glad you did! If you have not seen this movie buy it today...download it...get the DVD, do whatever you have to...if you have to sell your kidney, it would be worth it! Grab this one on Blue-ray today!
